Will everyone please stop using the ‘C’ word….

It’s not even remotely close to “Christmas”.  There’s plenty of life still left in 2016 and we’re quite prepared to exhaust every inch of it to marry you with your dream classic or collectible car….

To that end, here’s just a small selection of the cars we’re very pleased to present to you.  Starting with our beautiful 1961 Jaguar Mark X, the former personal car of Sir William Lyons which has been meticulously and sympathetically restored and still retains its original Coventry registration.  A splendid example of a particularly important Jaguar.  One for the discerning collector naturally, but an unrepeatable opportunity and dare we say, economical, at £69,990 when you consider the expenditure which has been lavished to reach this standard.

Likewise, our fresh-to-market and exceptionally rare 1990 Porsche 928 GT with manual gearbox and 5-litre V8 engine.  Our car has covered fewer than 26,000 miles in the hands of just four keepers and has been seriously cherished.  Offered in Velvet Red with Linen leather interior piped with red the colour combination is really pleasing. It has a generous service history and is ready immediately for just £54,9900. This car represents one of the very few low mileage Porsche 928 GT’s with manual gearbox remaining and to our mind is crying out to be used.

You’ll see all our cars for sale at our website, but the final spotlight must be shone on our commanding Ferrari Testarossa from 1990.  Complete with registration “ENZ 210” our left-hand drive European spec car has travelled just 26,000kms from new, has an enviable history file and benefits from a recent major service.  Anticipating interest from Mainland Europe we’re storing this car in Kent where it is available to be viewed.  The ££ to €€ exchange being as it is, we welcome all interested parties to come forward now at our £114,990 price expectation, equiv. to just €130,500 today.

Off to pastures new is our now sold 2015 Land Rover Defender 90 Landmark Edition which had travelled just 59 miles.  We wish the new keeper a lot of fun with his new car!

We occasionally offer select items of automobilia, watches or registration numbers through Manor Classic Cars which can be seen beneath our vehicles for sale.  These include items such as the registration “N300 RSR”, perfect for a Porsche RSR recreation which is available on retention for £2,490.

If you have a car which you think could benefit from being marketed and presented by MCC to our audience of active car-buyers then we currently have capacity at our secure saleroom for a selection of interesting and desirable motor cars, and would be pleased to hear from you to discuss further….

As always, I’m pleased to offer alternative services to buying and selling which include vehicle sourcing, vehicle inspections, valuations, and through my Landlord at York Classic Car Storage, we can even help you to house your classic car in a purpose-built facility.  See www.yorkcarstorage.co.uk

Further, I am often asked to facilitate the sale of a car by its owner through auction, and as such I offer a service to all sellers should this be their preferred route.  I am not bound to one particular auction house, though I shall this weekend be attending the Silverstone Auctions Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show where a handful of likewise consigned cars will cross the block. Incidentally, if there is a particular car in their listing which you’d like me to view on your behalf I’ll be pleased to do so.
