1962 Triumph TR4

An increasingly rare find being as it is an early UK delivered TR4 with Surrey Top.

Supplied through F. Guyver & Sons Limited of Stratford Upon Avon in 1962 its original colours were Spa White with Black leather interior.  Options included heater, windscreen washer, hard-top, sun visors, Michelin X tyres and overdrive.

In 2011/12 this car was stripped to be repainted.  At the same time, four original wings were married to the car, and the sills replaced.  A full respray and re-chroming of the brightwork took place as documented by photographs and a host of receipts.  Later, in 2015, the engine head was rebuilt too.  Our car further benefits from a Phoenix exhaust and manifold, electric ignition and Petronix Flame Thrower coil.

A known car amongst the TR Register, ‘HFO 754’ was featured many times in the Rimmer Bros catalogue.  Now re-married to its original steel wheels (albeit refurbished) with freshly re-chromed hub caps, the only modification now are the Lucas front lamps which are bloomin’ handy for a late run back from the pub!

All inspections and drives welcome.  She won’t disappoint….
